Hello there, I’m Maddi! I found myself wandering in a field when I was just a couple of months old, and since then, I’ve been living at the shelter. Now that I’m almost a year old, I’ve grown into a loving helper dog. I also enjoy having fun exploring the world around me.

I get excited when I first head out for a walk, but I settle down and enjoy the fresh air the longer I’m out. On a leash, I’m still learning my manners and might pull a little. I’m a playful girl who’s looking for a fun home where I can run, play, and grow even more. I thrive on adventures and absolutely adore sniffing plants, especially after it rains! My “sniffari” walks are the best. Sometimes I get so excited I even zoom around! And oh boy, do I love belly rubs! But treats, that’s where it’s really at! I love those, but be careful; I might take your fingers along with them!

I’m super affectionate. If you ever see me lean against you and wag my tail, just know I’m having the time of my life! I’m always ready for new friends and to have a blast! I’m also getting better at helping other dogs feel comfortable; I recently made a new friend with a dog who needed some behavioral support.
